The focal point of our business is creative landscape design. The designs are CAD drawn, and presented in color. The scope of your design will vary, as will the drawings included on your final design. Your designer will determine which drawings are necessary for your project.

• Layout Plan – This is your master plan for the area determined by you and your designer.
• Planting Plan – Fully-labeled plan depicting correctly-scaled plants. A plant list is included. Sometimes the layout plan and the planting plan are combined.
• Plant Photos – We like you to see your new palette.
• Visualization graphics – These drawings are produced by your designer as they see fit.
• Detail Plans – These drawings are not typically produced, but will be provided upon request.

Should you choose to install your design by yourself, your designer will:

• Lay out your project lines on the ground using paint or flags.
• Place plants – If you purchase your plants from Landworks Design, we will set the plant containers where they are to be planted.
• Answer your questions regarding your design via phone or email

Landscape design costs are determined by your designer and vary by job. If you choose Landworks for your installation, the cost of your design will be deducted from your final bill.

We can create designs without ever visiting your site. While a site visit is helpful and informative, sometimes distance prevents that from happening. If you send us photographs of your site from several different angles and then provide a base plan depicting existing conditions, one of our designers will draw your design. Upon completion of the design, we will send it via e-mail or the USPS, depending on your preference. The cost for this service varies by job.

Installation prices vary by site conditions, design, job scope, and materials. Speak with your designer for specific pricing for your job.

Landworks Design Group designers are available for consultation. The charge for this service is $85/hour. For locations outside a 20-mile radius Lino Lakes, Minnesota, a charge of $1.00/mile round trip (not including the 20-mile radius) will be added to your bill. For example, for a 1-hour consultation located 40 miles from Lino Lakes, the charges will be as follows:
